Hi Guys,
Do Amex provide relocation expenses ?
Hi fishers! I have offer and signed contract with Deloitte UK and my start day is in the beginning of April. I need skilled worker visa, and we haven’t applied yet for that. Screening and onboarding is in progress. Immigration team doesn’t reply since reached me out 1st time. How much time does it usually needed to go through the whole process? How many days take for visa to be approved since application?Deloitte
My wife has her joining date extended from Randstad and no joining date has been provided. What are the chances of her offer getting revoked. She has around 1 year of experience in HR. She got to know about this just on the last day of her notice period. She doesnt have any other offer as she didnt expect the joining date to get extended. Randstad. If anyone is open for hiring, please let me know. I can share it with her. Morningstar Tata Consultancy Accenture JPMorgan Chase KPMG PwC EY Deloitte

I am around this age and I would say, focusing on long term career growth should be the priority. At this age, most of us have kids and need a steady income and if our focus is clear in terms of career growth, it would eventually lead to a better pay.
I'm the same age and I'm definitely focusing on the income rather than titles and all of that. We're still young enough that we should be investing as much as possible so we can benefit from compound growth, and a good income is necessary to make that happen.
Higher pay that gives you something to fall back on. Can those things not be synonyms? I would rather make money now. You never know what will happen in the long term.

I hear you! At this point, I’ve been leaning more toward growth, skills and opportunities that pay off long term—even if it means a smaller paycheck now. But yeah, it’s definitely a balancing act, and sometimes you just have to decide which matters more in the moment.
