I lived there years ago and loved it, but I’m old and cranky now… recent visits really turned me off - housing has become mind bogglingly expensive, infrastructure and traffic is a nightmare, schools are meh, and personally I’m not thrilled with the broader political climate of the state… I still Iove it deep down, but is it worth the hassle these days?

During the interview, If the interviewer recommended you to talk to somebody else in the firm but not the original rescheduled interviewers,what does that mean? After the recommendation, he stopped asking me questions. And the conversation only covered about 60% of the whole interview timeline. Shall I follow up with him about the ‘mentioned talk’?

So I recently accepted a 12 month contract-hire position at a much larger company. Pay is more than 50% of my salary, and benefits/401k is covered by the recruiting agency. I was confident in my now manager, who told me directly this will become a permanent role.
