Bro, Advisory is a broad area with lots of service lines. You need to be more specific.

What AS1 said. What specific service line? As I’ve said on other similar posts, you can make you background sound like anything you want to get the role you’re looking for as Advisory is so broad. Nobody knows exactly what you know so it can be a big advantage if you can sell yourself well

@Deloitte it really depends. I came on as an experienced hire who is non senior. I'm in a high COL and base salary is 110k. Based on digging around it sounds like my comp is an anomaly, and that a senior may be closer to 90-100k. For what it's worth, i am in more of a technical practice within advisory.

Performance Improvement. Any examples of the types of moves you seen?

I’ve seen lots of exits to like Sr FP&A roles or Corp Strategy Associates/Analysts. Also lots of laterals to other B4 but with different roles, that might be most common. I’ve actually been looking at an opportunity in EY’s PI group - can you ballpark a first year PI Sr Consultant salary? I’d appreciate it

Advice for younger professionals: Don't stress too much about a job in Big 4. Most people leave after 4ish years anyways. Just got an offer from a large pharma in Boston to be a Manager of Cloud Engineering. Currently a Senior 2 in EY Tech Consulting in Denver at $120k but hoping to make manager next summer. Comp for the new role would be $155k base, $60k in stock over three years, 20-30% target bonus. Thoughts?
