BCG 🐠 a friend is interviewing for the DC office & wants to know if the DC office has an industry focus? Specifically if you primarily work with federal clients? In addition to this (cont.)

Broad focus, slight lean towards healthcare and retail. Federal presence there but far from primary focus. Most people travel within the northeast

If not primarily federal, where most people have travel projects (regional?), the office culture, or any other info that could be helpful. Thanks!

Office is actually in Bethesda, one of two offices not in the city. Federal group is relatively separate. Majority is regular commercial BCG. cover range of industries and functions. 300+ people in the office

Where’s the federal group housed?

Bcg2 what does bcgs federal practice look like? Are there people that onlynwork in fed like in big 4? Do people bounce back and forth?

I’m not an expert in federal, don’t really have those answers

Recently i got offer from bosch ,meanwhile benz is also called for 4th round of interview, what should i do if i received offer from benz ?can i withdraw from bosch within a month and join benz?

Round or exact numbers on banners/LPs? I was curious about this since in negotiations for example or pricing it's better to have the exact number. But if you have a case study, for example, is it better to say "Client X increased their revenue to 1,000,000 ARR" instead of "Client X increased their revenue to 987,500 ARR" ? Anyone has seen any impact on conversion rates?

I'm in the final round of interviews for two internal positions - both vertical. One has FTE's (my first such experience) and the other a much broader scope vs my current role

I had interviewed externally for a role on par w the internal roles, at a smaller and less established company. They confirmed +20% was in their range

How do I push back on my company if they offer less than that, if I do want one of those roles? Without a pay scale, what is the best way to approach?

Hi! I have a quick question and could use some advice:

I have 1 job offer that is an hour away and pays 45k, after negotiations (Research Associate Position at a University) .

I have just interviewed for a position closer to home and a base salary of 65k, but haven’t heard back from them in about 2 days (He said he would make a decision by yesterday and I’ve reached out).
I have to decide on the first offer by Thursday but I haven’t heard back from the second yet. Thoughts on next move?

You did an interview and your interviewer apologized that the travel time 180minutes was much higher than 30minutes scheduled time for the interview and that It could have been done remotely, but she has to follow the process. I am still waiting for feedback though.

Is this just a humane demonstration?

hello! I’m looking to get some insight to see if I’m being paid fairly for where I’m at in my career. I’ve worked at the same company for 2.5 years. This is my first job out of college. Started as an HR Admin, basically in a call center for all HR related inquiries and now am a Sr Admin assisting with escalations, interviewing, training new hires, supporting my team, scheduling, keeping track of stats- phone calls, tickets resolved, etc. I’m making $52k per year and work remote out of MA.
