Which one are you?
How do you navigate getting a referral on a platform like this? Genuinely curious on if HR/Recruiting asks how you know the person you're referring, or if they don't care where the referral comes from.
Really interested in a junior PM role at Razorfish. A close friend currently works for a different Publicis org, so not sure if a referral from them would mean anything.

On a real, impartial note, there’s some merit in your question. If it’s same salary, I say stay with D for many reasons. But because the salary is 20% higher, the level of these firms are similar, and you don’t care for your internal network, then it’s a simple $ question, go BCG.
But you should be happy at both. I salute you sir
Correct, D4. C2 may be an amoeba or plankton.
OP ... I think most of the responses you are seeing are from junior staff who don’t actually know much about the business of consulting. Why don’t you try asking a more experienced audience? Maybe Partner One?
D3 would love for you to expand on what you mean/have experienced. What’s the reality of it?
"Should I leave for a more prestigious company that pays much more?"
Oh gee I don't know
Dude... get outta here man. I'm actually questioning your acumen and knowledge for asking this
could also be an independent woman who don’t need no man
Understand your pain OP! I had the same challenge when McKinsey offered to double my salary when I was at Slalom
I would say depends how long you’ve been in role. If you are senior PL or above I would think pretty hard, as you would be giving up your network and accumulated social capital to start all over
Get the offer at BCG first
I wouldn’t move if you are PL or higher. Will be brutal. Even soon to be PL will be tough.
Cut OP some slack. Deloitte is a large firm with multiple offerings that aren’t just analytics or business related.
Op may be a phenomenal developer/tech guy and know all the “duh” moments for tech related stuff that we may have no clue about.
I’d say Deloitte because you’ll work half as much as bcg so you’ll make more on a hourly basis 😉
It feels like either all the kids from Deloitte are on this specific thread. Or everyone at Deloitte is a kid. The latter can't be true... Right?
You do know that there are more than 5 people who work at Deloitte?
F** prestige .. who is best ?
D >> MBB as they say
Oh ok are you a D consultant ?
It honestly depends on what of consulting you are in. If you are in strategy, BCG makes 100% sense. However, if you are in Technology, e. g. Cyber then Deloitte is better. No universal answer
The humor of this post is lost on me 🤔
I’d say D all the way because you can look forward to getting a Google Home speaker for your annual appreciation reward!
I fizzled out at a BCG interview for a Principal. My feedback was very positive with one interviewer and missed with the other. Does BCG ever follow-up with prior candidates for future recruiting?
senior consultant here
what should I am for at BCG?
(A>C>SC >M> SM> Partner @ D)
