Best designation for working with high net worth clientele? The CFP is obvious, but want to work my way up to it. I was thinking the AWMA. Thoughts???

CFP or CFA, everything else is just marketing to make potential clients you have designations that are as important as the CFP and CFA

Just go straight to the cfp. I did it in 4 months it's not that hard.

like

Why waste your time? Do the cfp. It will give you the broadest and most useful skill set to deal with HNW clientele.

Of any advisors that have replied, which study program did you use?

Cffp and Kaplan. And, I believe Kaplan just purchased cffp?

Kaplan is awesome

Currently a big 4 consultant and got an offer from FAANG for a strategy and ops role that would bring my total comp up 60%. I’m really grateful for the offer and really excited, however, I am also interviewing with MBB. It has always been a goal of mine to work for tier 1 strategy firm as I’ve always felt on the outside looking in at big4. I feel like most exit ops from strategy would be S&O industry roles but still can’t get these MBB firms out of my mind. Am I just overthinking this?

I'm currently looking at two HRBP roles at two different titles/salary bands. This would at a large banking company located in NYC.
