I have joined Infosys 2 weeks back. They have mapped me to a certain project but everyday I am getting calls for the skill sets that don't match to my current skill set. They are telling me to attend client interview and giving me just 1 week of time to prepare for a totally new technology.
Does this commonly happen in Infosys? Infosys

I always try to schedule interviews early am, over lunch, or at end of the day and then you can just log in a bit later or off a bit earlier. You gotta run an errand. Pick up something for a friend. Etc
Yeah I’ve been trying to do this. Gets tougher when the interviews are an hour and a half though hahaha
Schedule them during lunch. My team had protected lunch hours, so I would book my interviews during that time. If I couldn’t I’d just block off an hour on my calendar, if someone asked I just aid I had to run for a family/personal reason. You don’t owe your employers anything, especially if you are already planning to leave.
You started putting work-outs on your calendar when you (or a trainer) had holes in your calendar, to give yourself some accountability. You chose to notify your team that you're not online for that hour or so by being offline/out of office for that hour or so. (Plus shower time.)
Take a PTO day. Talk to you tomorrow….I hope it prepared!!
Just tell your manager that you don't think PA is for you and you have an interview.
Diarrhea is my go to if anyone ever questions me. Anyone that gives you a hard time for that is an asshole.
Take a PTO day and get them all done that day.
A lot of my former colleagues would schedule “doctors appointments” throughout the week to get their interviews in. Nobody would ask them about it since it’s rude to pry about medical issues.
You had to stop by the post office and there was a very long line. You’re looking to move and scheduled an apartment viewing. You’re treating your family to a birthday lunch/dinner.
Yep! Household plumbing issues, home appliance issues, contractors stopping by, utility or internet company checking lines and meters in weird parts of the house or apartment building.

Vet appointments sometimes work, unless your manager has the same type of pet as you. Then they might want more details. Otherwise, say checkup/bloodwork/dental cleaning drop off and pick up.
Could you just say you were on a call? Does your manager know everyone you talk to? People are involved in things at work outside of whatever projects you may have.
I’ve been interviewing lately. Google has a “schedule send” option for emails. I’ve been firing off 2-3 emails per interview so it seems like I’m working.
