Best exit ops for S1 (2-3 yrs experience) in FS audit? Mostly on private equity & mutual funds. Obviously a senior fund accountant roll, but what other opportunities are there?

Would a non FS company consider someone with only FS experience? For example a tech company?

like

To chime in. I have seen someone exit to a tech company as a non-senior accountant role after 2/3 years.

Same question, in the same boat, S1-S2 in PE space, seems controller positions don't become available until manager or even senior manager level.

like

Same question here except i'm mostly on hedge funds

Not much outside fund accounting, or controller if you stick around until manager. Remember, you’re in compliance; front office doesn’t want fact-checkers, they want analysts. If you want to move into a non accounting role, you may need to get out of audit sooner rather than later.

Interested in knowing what the exits are too!

Just graduated with Aerospace Engineering degree. I am interviewing for multiple positions at once with different companies. One gave me an offer and they want me to get back to them within 2 days. I still have other interviews scheduled and some for higher paying jobs (around 90k) What should I do?
I do like the company that gave me an offer but their base pay was 80k and they went up to 85k. Is asking for them to match the 90k too much? The position is associate systems engineer.

Also posted over in tech bowl. Looking for advice on whether pursue a CS degree. I’m an older guy shifting to SWE. I finished bootcamp last May & about to start my first jr role at Oracle OCI. Late 30’s with a couple of kids. Is it worth it for me to seek a CS degree at this time/soonish? I’m not afraid of the extra work, and would go part time. Wondering if the eventual payoff would worth the effort. Will I level up quicker? Employer has partial tuition reimb.

3- Within IJP can I apply for outside India?

DO YOU JUST ASSUME THE COST OF YOUR MARKETING ACTIVITIES? I am looking to allocate their cost in the marketing budget in a way that won't rely on several layers of assumptions. How do you reliably estimate the cost of different marketing activities (email, social, web, etc) when you don't have specific people or tools allocated to each function and costs are spread across many channels? Ads seems the easiest, but even then there's time and overheads... I've been looking for a reliable model.
