AMA: International Travel (US to Europe) During Coronavirus! I found very little info on this topic before my trip and had a bunch of questions which I wish someone could have helped with. Now, a friend and I both traveled US to Europe in the last week, different routes, in Econ/Biz. Looking for respectful ways to manage helping people in need of a job or seeking mentorship. I get 3-4 requests a week from mutual contacts asking if I can connect with a former colleague (always broad). Typically the ask is a 30-45 min call. I’ve been laid off, I know how hard a time it is, but equally am working long hours, parenting and want to reserve time for those I know. How do others manage these extra calls into their weeks?

Follow up post to my last post…My husband was laid off from the company where I also work. I am feeling really isolated / depressed about working and moving forward. I’m also getting to a stage where I’m really sad that people haven’t reached out to either my husband or myself to send well wishes or provide support. It’s like they don’t know what to say or I make them feel awkward so they don’t bother…I’m trying to focus on a few that have been supportive but it’s hard…Any words of advice? 😞
