Best investment funds in payflex hsa? Target retirement ~30 years. They have target age funds but prefer a good index fund if anyone has experience with pay flex.

Would help to know what funds are available. For an HSA, you should have the most aggressive investments given that it is the most tax advantaged investment account out there.

Look for broad market index funds. Something like VTSAX (US market), VFIAX (S&P500), VTIAX (international) would be good options (the first two are nearly identical so just pick one). Not sure what funds Payflex offers.

thank you!

Going just off the names, start by looking at row 8. I do 100% of my HSA to a similar fund (after the required $1000 cash) and achieve diversification elsewhere. I have enough complication elsewhere I don't need to have multiple funds in every bucket.

Additional Posts in FIRE Financial Independence Retire Early

I would like to hit fire between 40-50. Currently 27, 185k total comp (125 for me and 60 for partner). Like my job don’t hate it don’t love it. Does an MBA make sense? I’m guessing it could take me to 170ish with that schools I’m looking at but wondering if the 40-50 retirement range makes an mba not make sense since I’d only have 10-20 years to save vs 12-22.

Would have to finance the whole thing myself. Current net worth is 140k. Thoughts?
