I am a big 4 tax manager with 6 YOE. Just got an industry offer today as a tax manager. Fintech firm with 30% base increase plus bonus and equity. The money is tempting but as an ambitious career driven person, I am now second guessing myself. Would I have a successful career in industry? Or would it be better to stick it out and try to be a partner one day.
Has anyone gone into a policy-related job after a short time in consulting? Did you regret it? How did you find it?
