Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.

Bain & Company Would you be ok to move out of strategy consulting while keeping the current TC in similar ballpark (~$200k) and improving WLB?
The new role is in industry and the future salary and career growth would be considerably slow as compared to consulting.

If you're only reason for going is MBB, that's a risky proposition. Would suck to be out more than $200k in tuition and lost wages and not get it.
The standard $200k and lost wages argument uses faulty math. School doesn’t cost $200k in tuition. Lost wages are irrelevant: you won’t pay taxes on money you don’t make; and you likely won’t be paying rent in an expensive city. Lost savings plus accrued debt is the true cost. Also, you won’t find a person with a top 10 MBA who says they regret it.
@OP Pretty arrogant to say you would be guaranteed MBB post-MBA
Oh I will get it. It's just a matter of time for me.
I meant I am 30 and exit ops are better for MBB.
Leave consulting.
Stay with big 4. Exit opps can still be good and you’ll save yourself 200k and 2 years of lost wages
You'll be on a firm's MBA salary vs undergrad salary so 2 year lost income isn't as bad
Learn from A1’s words. MBB isn’t guaranteed so have a plan for what you want out of your career if MBB falls through.
I regret returning to my Big 4 firm after my MBA and not applying to MBB.
SC1 tell me more.
Worth it if it's a M7 school imo.
Does PwC cover any of the tuition if you return after MBA?
