Why are salaries so damn low in London 😭 i should make >60k TC (touch wood) with ~1YOE but I still don’t feel I could rent a decent place in zone 2 on my own :(

Advice pls - was confirmed that Deloitte would be moving to offer approx 3 weeks ago. Offered lower than expected salary, asked for an increase and haven’t received any confirmation on the original or revised offer.
