CaN anyone help with salary range for ZS - Manager level position

Hello! Does anyone have insightful information on working off a base salary and commission? I’m currently salary but my company is offering the option to make commissions but we have no idea how to structure this and they’re leaving it up to me to decide! I support 3 recruiters and we usually keep 90-95 req’s.

Hey everyone I’m making a large career change. I’m still working at my current role but have been learning to code for a minute. Html, css, JavaScript, python, and SQL. I received a job offer from a PI firm (MVA and tractor trailer cases) in Houston, Texas; the bonus proposed was 2.5% of attorney’s fees for any cases settled each quarter. We are assigned 50 cases a quarter and the top attorney clears $25K each quarter. This is my first time working at a PI firm. Can anyone share any guidance? Is 2.5% industry standard? Is it realistic to settle/resolve that many cases? I am trying to learn more about this niche before I counter-offer and attempt to negotiate.

Need some suggestions: My current company is on a layoff spree and 2 rounds are already done and I can foresee another round coming very soon.

While I am trying to switch to other companies, I’m not able to reveal the real reason from my side for the job change, as if I say, it’s because of layoff fears than it’ll reduce my negotiation power.

What other reasons can I give as I’ve just completed 9 months here and it’s too soon for any other company to take me in.
