This is a little embarrassing… I don’t know anything about investing. I come from a low income / immigrant background and never received financial education. Just recently learned the difference between an TR and Roth IRA 😓 I have started to contribute $$ in my 401K. I am 27 and only have like $15K in my Vanguard account feel like I am so behind. Can someone recommend good resource/advise to learn the basics?

SO and I are debating contributing to 401k this year since the rate of return is around -11% on our portfolios this year. I believe it would be better off saving the cash in my account.
