Hi! I just accepted a Relationship Banker II role in Allen, TX. My offer letter was 50k base and 1k guaranteed commission a month first year. I just graduated w a degree in Business Administration. Basically the info I got on how commission works was pretty vague. Anyway I wanted to see what someone I’m their 1st or 2nd year can realistically expect to on average make in commission a year in this role. Also what do bonuses in the role look like? I’m hoping to just hear some ballpark numbers! JPMorgan Chase JPMorgan Chase
Who got in on Larva Lads? 👀
Happy new year

Billing the client over 40 hours per week consistently. 42 hours / 40 hours = 105% utilization
On average, you worked 42 hours per week while the assumption is 40 hour per week - the utilization calculation uses the actual hours as the numerator and assumption hours as the denominator, so ( 42 / 40 = 105%)

My utilization is 0%
Probably based off an XX hours/ week assumption
Lolllllll.
100% Utilization at year end is 40 hours a week*52 weeks (2080 in other words). Utilization=number of hours worked/(number of weeks in performance year so far*40). So if you’re doing this calculation at year end, 105% means you worked 2184 hours, or an average of 42 hours a week
It was just an example how you can end up with 105% util. 🤷♂️
Thank you
***utilization is based on hours recorded, not hours worked. Rookies 😅
If your utilization is 105, start looking for a way out. Mine hit 140 once.
By billing 42 hours a week..
Did anyone have a utilization that ended up less based on everyone else’s util? I was at around 115 that ended up at 107
Pto decreases it
