Career question: Currently making under-market in a role I excel at (inside sales), but little to no insight into any potential promotions/raises anytime soon due to current freezes. I was just offered a substantial increase in pay to leave IT sales (double my current base, plus bonus.) It’s still selling tech, but not complex data center kind of IT sales. How hard would it be to get back into IT sales later on if I leave for a year or two? Specifically looking to get into a field sales role?

Hey guys I have offer from cisco system and checkpoint cyber security . Checkpoint is offering x+5 in base where as cisco is offering similar amount in joining bonus. Overall per year ctc is also differs by 3 lac (y+3) in checkpoint .

So considering recession and mass layoff which one will be right option to select in terms wlb, job security and future growth .

FYI : checkpoint is starting r&d division in India I will be first person to be hired for the same role.

I rented a house that had been vacant for a bit & the prior tenant didn’t do a thorough job cleaning up. Agent indicated the owner would be open to having the house cleaned but I would need to have the house professionally cleaned when I moved out (that was fine w me). I just received the bill from the owner for $250, which is super annoying bc there was no expectation communicated that I would foot the bill for this, more so bc the cleaner did a LOUSY job. I have always been informed my basic is based on target.

Last 3 years the entire sales team hasn't made target in my product.
