Does anyone know comp for an L4 Global Account Rep role (base, equity, bonus). I’m asked to give my expected earnings prior to going into my final round. Any advice would help!

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. I’ve been with the company 8.5 years & am the only one in my role, which they can’t operate without. I execute tasks from two investment advisors and two financial planners - they make the decisions of what should happen & I make it happen.

How do you count years of experience? Lets say you were a web master for 5 years. Then you transitioned into a proper UX role and did that for 5 years. Is that 10 years of experience or 5?

If I’m contributing to my Roth 401k vs pretax 401k and my employer matches 10% of my contributions. My employer match be 10% on my post tax contributions right? Technically meaning I’ll be getting less of my 10% employer match then if I were to do pretax 401k since that match would be on a higher amount?

Parents- how much are you saving for your kids? Married mid 30s and family income is around 200k. We both max employer 401k. Have around 30k debt. Lcol and low mortgage. Would you pay off debt- or focus on kids savings? Oldest kid is 7 years out from college and will have some VA benefits.

Does it always make sense to max out your HSA? I have ~$6k parked there now as a healthy 28 yo with virtually no healthcare utilization

My role sr SQL developer I resigned the current job GOT ROLE in FICO child org as a solution integration consultant role -(AWS,PENTAHO ,SQL we will be using ) -offered CTC 25 fixed + 1L JB + 2.5 BONUS + 0.5 L WFH SETUP = total 29LPA if everything will go smoothly ( bonus vary with comp growth it can be between 1.8L to 2.5l .so final CTC will get down to 28LPA as well - Bangalore but WFH ).Current org retain with 25L +2 LP VARIABLE HYDERABAD COMPANY

Thoughts on “special” salary grades. I just found out the VP I was offered is not a grade 12 like most comparable roles (verified). Also not an 11, but an 11A. Slightly higher than an 11, a good bit lower than a 12. All due to the fact that it’s a leap from my current position. Why should that matter…..shouldn’t it pay what it should pay if I am selected, rather that curving down towards my current rate?

I have a promising interview at a relatively large law firm in my area (+100 attorneys) next week. The position is for a transactional role in their real estate practice group, and they are seeking someone with at least 2 YOE. I have a bit over 7 YOE with a strong real estate/commercial lit. background. Over the past two years in my current position, I've been doing a lot more transactional work. The split is around 50% transactional and 50% lit.

I NEED HELP WITH CREDIT SCORE issues: Two months ago my credit score went down by 30 to 40 points due to dad missing credit card payment by a day (i got added to as authorized user on his credit card for me to build credit but now I’m filled with regret). I have a international STEM BSc (2014), 3 years of research lab experience, 1 year hospital lab experience and 2.5 years veterinary diagnostics experience. I live in Michigan and was told by two schools that my credits have to be less than five years old but I think they are trying to get me to pay more by staying in school for four years. Does anyone else constantly get mistaken for a nurse? I get it, I'm 5'4 and Black and work in pediatrics, but the assumption and casual racism is kind of ridiculous when the actual nurse has just told you that the doctor's coming and then I walk in the door. Doesn't really help when I'm one of the only Black on-call physicians. Annoying.
