Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.
Microsoft is hiring an account executive and I’m really interested in the role. I have B2B sales experience in a different industry, but my skills include lead generation, prospecting, account management, negotiating, etc (all within the C Suite and other decision makers).
Would appreciate knowing if this is something I have a shot at with no tech sales experience and what I could expect for promotional opportunities and compensation.
Thanks for the help!

What about legacy FAS Seniors? How much do they make?
What TAS practice does matter- as an experienced senior who started with the firm that sounds about right. I'd say 85 for senior 1/2, 90 for senior 3. Also travel depends on what TAS practice
Yeah 85-90
I know a PAS who came in at the same experience, also T1, 98k
Well what's your previous salary?
Yea, good point D1. Unfortunately they do hold that against you. It's bullshit imo. I don't think TAS travels yea? If no travel, 85-90 is fine
Sounds about right
Which TAS practice? It matters...
