Get the cert if company is paying for it.
You already have three years experience. You have upto 5 years from the date of passing the exam to become certifed. If the company is paying for the exam and study course I would take the company up on the offer as it will enhance your resume for free as you can put you passed the exam.
If someone asks you if you're a god, you say YES !
Sorry, wrong movie quote.
If someone says they are going to pay you to be more marketable, you say YES!
CISSP > CISM

I have a CISM and I supervise people with CISSP
Weird flex for an “associate” partner.
But since we’re flexing, I studied part-time for the CISSP for 2 weeks and passed at 100 questions and less than 90 minutes. Still, I considered it challenging.
Didn’t prepare specifically for the CISM. Didn’t need to. It was a cakewalk by comparison. If you can pass the CISSP, you’ll laugh at the CISM exam.
Why the CISM over CISSP?
bc they’re offering cism voucher for free and not the cissp
How about CISSP?
Definitely take advantage of any free certs that are related to your career

You need five years of experience to get that CERT

CISM is good but the CISSP is better and personally I don’t think you need both
Coach
No harm in doing both, I just wouldn’t use the CISM as a substitute
Why would you NOT get a credential a firm wants to pay for? You never know what will happen in the future. ALL my certs have helped me over the years

You need five years of experience for that certification
