GPS? 110-140

They’re not going to pay you more for an MBA you don’t have

like

Yeah, I figured. I've seen on a few different threads that most(?) senior consultants at Deloitte have graduate degrees, so I included it in case it was relevant.

SC with PMO skillset might cap out at 125k

like

125k is what they’ll settle at. I interviewed a while back, and they tried to give me less than I got at my current job. I walked away, they didn’t even try to negotiate

like

Did you end up there eventually or were you there before and were trying to boomerang back?

160k salary is what they give newly graduated MBA grads. However this is definitely at the very top of the pay band.

like

150-170?

You’re out of your mind. No way they’ll give you that for SC

like

What’s your current level at BAH? SC or Associate maybe?

Gotcha. Can’t speak to D, but I just accepted a position at another firm in the 140-150 range with 6 years experience, non-MBA M.S., and also cleared. I’d reckon you could get more than that. Your clearance level dictates the premium associated with it.

I always bill 100% of my time and for my entire career in public accounting I have never heard anything negative until recently.. I was told to watch my time as the client doesn’t like to pay these fees, and the partner is unhappy because it looks like I have high hours. Is the message that I should eat my time? Or is it that They think I’m inefficient?

I feel I’m being underpaid in today’s market (mid- to large-size city) compared to the job I’m doing.

I’m a Lead Account Manager (F) who manages a team of 3, developing digital marketing strategies for healthcare clients. I manage 30+ clients on my own while contributing to the leadership team to drive the company forward.

I make $74k/year. For those in similar positions (Senior Account Manager? Account Manager Director?), can you share your salary to see if I’m being paid fairly?

Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? That will never happen!!!

What’s the best way to negotiate more money during a contract to FTE conversion? My manager and I had the conversion convo today and he said he’d like to convert me immediately and took the action item to do so. In terms of comp he said they should already have what I’m expecting but I don’t think I communicated any FTE number to my contracting company. In this job market with all the layoffs, should I count my blessings and take what I can get or is there wiggle room.

Looking for a suggestion for a date spot that would be convenient and a good halfway meeting point: i’m in Murray Hill and my date is coming from Astoria. I usually have my dates meet me here when they live in Manhattan but I think somewhere halfway would be more fair in this case. This will be a first date and it’s probably just drinks but might end up being dinner also. Ideas?

Anyone know a good date option for 1st date - I’m in north county but taking out a girl who doesn’t drink on Friday night , so I don’t want to pressure her with a bar setting.

I have a governmental entity client in Texas that wants to offer 6 weeks of paid parental leave for all employees, even those who aren’t eligible for FMLA. After the paid 6 weeks, the employee can choose to continue paid leave using any accrued personal leave.

Texas does not have a paid parental leave statute.

If paid leave above what is required is offered for parents, do we also have to provide the same benefit to other employees that are eligible for unpaid leave?
