Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

I can send you the generic recruiting letter they sent me. It was so generic that they forgot to insert my name and left “Dear <insert name>” in the opening
Only go there if u want to be a bigger fish in a incredibly small pond ... that will eventually be drained into a much larger ocean
...the initial connect with the recruiter to the offer being extended?
You won’t like my answer- “it depends”. The total time between first interview and receiving offer letter for me was 28 days. Depending on the position, practice area, your years of experience and most importantly your networking skills/recommendations it could take anywhere between 3 weeks to 6 months maybe.
Thanks SL1 - I appreciate this information. Could you elaborate on the ‘networking skills’ part? Does it mean that if I get to know folks within Slalom, and network and keep in touch, it would help speed up the process?
Also, is there some sort of a pattern - wherein one city has been known to extend offers faster than others?
OP - yes. That’s what I meant by networking skills. Slalom is very culture dense and they need to be sure that you know the company, core values and are a pleasant person to work with (obviously being good at your job is a pre requisite). I’ve never seen animosity or unhealthy competition between employees. So make sure your interviewers feel that you’re a good representation of Slalom.
@D1 - I’m sorry on Slalom’s behalf that they sent you a generic letter.
D1 - That’s actually funny!!
A1 - What makes you say that? Could you please elaborate? I’m actually considering it because I thought it being a smaller firm, the Leadership would have more insight into my work and capabilities etc. and also from a growth perspective. Also, since it is a private firm, it may not have the annoying bureaucracy involved in many processes. Are there other factors I need to consider?
At slalom crossmarket it was about two weeks. Chat with recruiter, tech screen, on-site, leadership chat, offer. This was for the tech side of things though, your mileage may vary.
