Yeah you’re kind of all over the place. Keep in mind that different verticals have different pay scales and becoming an analyst might not be a step down at all. You’ll also have to go through an interview process and beat out others for the analyst role but PM might be lateral and just require an offer letter.

I’ve always been one to focus more on responsibilities given than role title, but I guess I got lost seeing that don’t have much knowledge of how things work in corporate. Probably early career jitters as well.
I’ll def be spending more time thinking about this and come back when I have a clearer goal! :)

Cont. I’ve just been wanting to develop more technical skills and am unsure on whether or not I’d get that kind of opportunity to build that as another manager?
Or would it be better to continue a Managing path as the quickest way for career and salary progression??
