Bain & Company Hi all, I am interested in making the move to the Middle East, however starting from august/September. What do you think are the prospects for the future in the region? Do you envisage a hiring freeze or are companies still going strong? Thanks!McKinsey & Company Boston Consulting Group Kearney Bain & Company

Di not start as SM at Deloitte - it will be extremely hard to make the cut without a network. Give yourself some time as M.
As a consulting SM at Deloitte it will be hard without a network. Annual bonus is up to 30% of base.
SM is 175k plus at Deloitte
You can go from M to SM at Deloitte? I heard their SM role is quite intense.
Been told it’s same as going M to D at PwC...that’s what it seems like!
Its actually an excellent oppty if you get level jump. Congrats on this..
I’m pretty positive SM at Deloitte is equivalent of D at EY / PWC. Is that up for debate here or do we all agree ?
Ey1 - not sure i agree with you there. What’s way higher ? The compensation for an ED at EY over an SM at Deloitte ?
2) What is Deloitte’s bonus % for M and SM? Other benefits like vacation time and retirement contributions?
Do not jump as a lateral if you are an experienced M.
Deloitte tries to say SM "means more" but it is the exact same
@ey1...what about what the guys above you said about having a network to make sales through
Yeah EY you’re off - SM = D basically
Im not off. At all. D and SM same shit until this year at pwc....
An ED at EY is way above a deloitte SM
I’m not talking about PwC’s SM. Hush EY, behind as usual
Have fun with your lateral move and sales targets
I’m getting tapped for a similar M or SM at Deloitte S&O. I initially said no point unless it’s a step up but from the sounds of it, they expect a lot more out of SMs than EY do. Lots of talk about bringing your own clients, market presence etc. Could be all BS but sounds pretty legit.
Exact same sales target as EY SM
And that’s exactlythat I’m looking for. I’m only one or two years from D at PwC. EY 1 you’re drunk, at least in your first post.... EY 2 gets it though
Cool. Thats the reality. SM at deloitte isnt some magical rank
