McKinsey & Company McKinsey & Company I have my first rounds (2 cases) for a position at the risk practice. Will I be interviewed by consultants in the risk practice? I wonder if I can ask some risk practice specific questions at the end of the interviews. (Didn’t get the names of the interviewers yet so I cannot google)
Looking for a switch. Any leads?
Hey everybody, a few colleagues from BCG are launching an NFT collection that is looking to celebrate (and also joke about) the consulting lifestyle. The art is awesome and they have a lot of the large meme pages lined up to help with their marketing shortly, so wanted to share in case anyone would love to follow them.

I've never heard of PRD that will give you utilization but if you can find it that would be great. Your target is only 80% and most people don't hit it their first year. 75% would probably easily put you in the top half of your start class. (Am speaking from S&O experience only)
D5- I got a $1,800 raise with 104%. Barf.
No one gives a fuck. Just make sure you are adding value.
Nope. But you have tons of time to get to 90% ask for internal PRD that will give you hours.
I'm going to be taking PTO (which will negatively impact utilization) and parental leave (which will not). I'm at 92% now but will be on the bench before Thanksgiving and near Christmas
I got promoted with 72% as an analyst lol
LOLL - 10k raise with a 50% util. Just do well and you'll be fine.
PRD that counts towards utilization is like a unicorn. And you'll usually only get the special code when your utilization is complete shit.
Investment
FPX projects give adjusted utilization. There are not tons of them this year but they are out there
I assume b/c its first year and parental leave / etc it should be fine so I appreciate the replies - I was worried because more than ever utilization seems to be the name of the game
Are you taking the full 16 weeks of parental leave? Aggressive for being your first year I guess
If you get fired for utilization it means something else was wrong too.
Get on multiple projects if you can. I'm sure you could find someone in your network that could use someone with an hour or so free time each week to help out with a project
First year you will get a pass but need to hit going forward
Yup
