Did you ever find a negotiation was going really well? For me at my last job I left I remember them being flexible on the start date, giving a signing bonus, an onboarding buddy…what are some of your negotiation green flags?

I love that, when everything feels really positive or seamless. A green flag for me is when they don't push back much on the desired salary or try to shame me into giving a number too early. I love those kinds of negotiations.

Yes when it’s genuinely a welcomed conversation!

When they start suggesting different ideas on how to accommodate you. For instance, when you say you have to drop off your kids and will be 30 min later than their open time. The say that’s fine and suggest that you can take a 30 min lunch instead of the whole hour so you can leave when they close.

I like this too, like truly trusting the workers will get the work done

I haven’t had that experience yet

Fingers crossed it’s soon for you!!

I have over 12 years in B2B sales/sales management experience along with a graduate degree. I am wanting to shift gears and I am at a point where I can invest time in myself to learn through practical experience. The new industry I am wanting to pursue is real estate investment. I have read all the books but want some hands on experience on the property management side. How could I best leverage my skills for a role in this, and what should my expectations be for negotiation in compensation?

I recently got an offer at PwC as an Experienced Associate at the Accelerated Centers, but the pay mentioned is much lower than my current job (nearly a 35 to 40k difference). I was initially told I'd be offered a more senior role and have a salary upwards of 91K. What are current Senior Associates at PwC making?

Note the offered role is on the Risk Consulting team managed through AC in South Carolina.

I currently work in a lab/greenhouse environment and would love to continue that line of work with hemp/cannabis. Yet again no luck whatsoever, just finding jobs as budtenders or running a dispensary. Does anyone know where I can find research-based cannabis jobs? I have a degree in horticulture with lab experience.

Got offered 68k after 2 years as a contractor (62.5k) doing project management/business admin in a tech department at a Fortune 500 bank. I have an A.S degree and working on my bachelor’s/masters may 2024. I negotiated to 84k NYC. I have seen interns get offered 38 per hour (79k) for internship positions with a similar role.

Thoughts? Should I go higher? I do my job well that’s why they decided to keep me as a contractor after my internship.
