Hi there, I’ve been told that Deloitte (London, UK) is going to make me an offer but haven’t heard back and it’s been over two weeks. The recruiter mentioned it would be around the “m2 grade”. Any idea what this pay range is? … I have 3 YOE working in NHS finance and have applied for a position in Risk Advisory, public sector. Curious what life at Deloitte is like? Does a work life balance exist?

I used to work in South Florida. I worked 9-5 most days (I remember someone was shocked I sent an email out at 8 once). Worked 1 weekend in 2 years. Billed 1500-1750. Firm’s listed minimum is 1900.
It was years ago, so it wasn’t that far off market. I actually had higher take home pay than friends in NY.
A3, I won’t say the specific firm. There are other FL based firms that are below market though.
OP I think the answer to your question is: we live in the United States of America, where LCOL could mean anywhere from South Florida to Kansas City to, like, Butte. We also don’t know what firm this is. Is this DLA Tysons? K&E Salt Lake? Hogan Colorado Springs? Maybe the partner you’re about to work with is a psychopath - we don’t know. Maybe not! What we DO KNOW is that no firm or partner goes by any sort of LCOL code of conduct.
