I don't know about lay offs but the turnover has been through the roof. Our practice leaders are scrambling to get more people. They have calls with Managers and above to come up with ideas to retain talent and hire more. On all hands calls they are relaying that we have higher retention to contain the frenzy.
Bottom line is with the subpar raises, PBBs, and base salary, people are dissatisfied and are leaving.
What groups are having layoffs?
I think over the past few years we have had higher than normal retention, so what seems like more people leave is really just a return to normal turnover.
I haven’t seen layoffs on my end (FSO Advisory NY) but we have stopped hiring significantly so when people leave we feel it more since the total team headcount is shrinking
Haven’t seen any good people leave yet. We could do better retaining some folks, but you should realize we aren’t exactly fighting to keep most who are leaving. And there aren’t that many to begin with.
I love you how you put CLT in the same sentence as NYC and Chicago.
Didn't think that we are in anyway close to being on par with those places.
