Recently Store Managers have been offering me jobs from different locations but same company in my town. The company is T-Mobile. It’s going to be my first job. I have a couple questions for any former/current employees. Is it better to work for T-Mobile, metro by T-Mobile, or a third party T-Mobile? Any difference in benefits or wage? Thanks

Yes get it. So worth it to Have access everywhere
Absolutely
Absolutely, I do all of my applications on the iPad. I can send the disclosures, complete the applications and have it automatically logged on the trade blotter in 20 minutes anywhere. Office , clients home, over lunch , etc. my iPad is more important than my office. I can also pull up account information on reviews/ revisits. ...
I don’t know how I’d do business without it. I felt unprofessional asking clients for their WiFi password although no one really cared too much.
Trying to transition to a paperless client experience makes this a necessary tool for successful advisors
If you have your answer by now...💩
Not sure I understand your comment but I feel like it was a majority saying yes it’s worth it 🤷🏽♂️
I think it it. I have had some out of office appointments where the Wi-Fi was very poor or unavailable. It just takes one situation and the possible loss of business to cover the additional expense. T-mobile has a data plan for $10/mo.
Amen! It hasn’t cost me business yet but I have had to fumble around with connectivity problems. So frustrating and makes me look silly, even if it is something I can’t control!
agree.....necessity - esp for watching golf :-)
You have to have one
You have hotspot no? I’m with T-Mobile and it’s free.
Yeah I do have a hotspot! I’ve used it for my surface pro which serves as my work computer.
Yes! Then you can work from ANYWHERE instead of being stuck in your office on a nice summer day like today
Ha yeah I need to do better about changing the scenery, especially on pretty days. I’m just so dependent on my additional monitors!
Sounds like the overwhelming response is a cellular iPad is valuable to have. Anyone have any comments or concerns with the new iPad Pro and the fact that it uses a USB-C cord instead of a lightning cord? I was ready to go ahead and buy it and then I realized it used a different cord. 🙄
What do u use an iPad for?
Well I am trying to get away from paper so I’m thinking it would help with that and is less clunky than trying to present from a laptop. Also like that I can use the note pad in it instead of a paper notebook. And then like many have said, it’s nice to be able to have connectivity anywhere regardless of WiFi signals. I was in a meeting yesterday and it was away from my office. The meeting room didn’t have a white board and I thought to myself “an iPad with a “drawing board” could have solved this problem” it was in that moment that I decided I’m buying the iPad today or this weekend
Worth it!
I use laptop and if there is no wifi I use iPhone hotspot. I have an iPad but haven’t used it for years. I am not even sure where it is. What to keep my device count to one laptop and one iPhone, that’s it.
Yeah I have thought of limiting the # of devices I have too. I have a Microsoft surface pro that is my primary work station(with extra monitors) but I honestly like the idea of an iPad too for when I want to leave my surface hooked up to the docking station or if I’m traveling I don’t have to go through the hook up of the hot spot connection and can be more efficient.
