Anyone with recent experience recruiting for Boston Consulting Group? Got in touch with a recruiter through referral, was directed to submit an application and already finished my pymetrics. Anyone know when I would be able to hear back and what the hiring timeline looks like? Recruiter suggested to get back in a few weeks but isn’t it too slow? McKinsey sent me an invite for 1st interview in a few days after they received my referral.

Great question. It’s wild how many companies say they’re "AI-first" but don’t really support practical usage in day-to-day work. Curious if you’ve seen anyone carve out time or guidance internally to upskill, or if it's just assumed people will figure it out?

We directly ask and expect specific levels of knowledge depending on the role/level.
We even allow you to use AI tools for the coding assignments to see how you use it and leverage it. That said, most candidates choose to not use it, or those that do don't leverage it in a way that builds confidence in their underlying skills.
