I had final techno manager round which was completed on 30 Mar, and after ugadi holiday, on 6th I have received the positive feedback and confirmation mail and asked to share the payslips and relevant documents. Still waiting for the offer letter. Called HR on 20th April for the updates, she told she is working on my offer and it will release soon. Any ideas on this fishes?Cerner Corporation

Do I try? Yes. Does it always work? No. But it's still worth the ask. Even a few extra days makes a difference if you can get them.
Rising Star
Totally agreed! Even a couple extra days can feel huge when PTO keeps getting eaten up by real-life stuff!
I definitely factor PTO into my job decisions. I really value work life balance and having time off. I want to make sure that the company I am interviewing at is going to allow me that time off when the time comes.
Rising Star
Same here! PTO has become a real factor for me too. Work-life balance matters, and I want to know a company will actually support taking that time when I need it.
Does anyone have unlimited PTO here and how much do you actually use a year?
Pro
I don't try to negotiate for more, as long as I get 4 weeks a year I think I'm good... but you're right, the PTO is almost always life catch-up and not an actual trip.
Rising Star
Yeah, four weeks feels like a solid baseline, but it really does disappear fast once real life kicks in.

Yeah time off is a huge factor for me. You have to work for something! I don’t have kids and will not have them so my time off is so important to me for seeing the world and travelling without needing to take months off unpaid
Rising Star
Totally. If travel is your thing, having enough PTO is non-negotiable. You’re right, you work hard for that time, and it’s nice to actually use it for experiences instead of burning unpaid leave.
Pro
I factor it in. Pretty easy to put a price on it when considering offer.

So true!
