Yes but that is solely because of them! My parents gave up a lot to make sure that my siblings and I would be successful ❤️
Very impressive!
Yes, but my parents were white trash with various substance abuse and other addiction problems. So, they literally had nothing and the bar was super low. I grew up in a trailer park with various forms of abuse, neglect, etc.
I’m very thankful for my education, career and (now) chosen family.
Not at all.
Is this a sick joke
No idea, my parents refuse to discuss how much money they have or made
Yes
yes, they were very poor at my age
It would be pretty hard not to considering inflation lol but i guess you mean taking that into account. I would say yes but not by a lot, i also picked a more lucrative major.
Don’t think so, but then again cost of living was way less at the time. I think they bought our house for $50,000 in the 70s
Yes but it’s because they sacrificed their lives for me and my siblings. Immigrant parents have my utmost respect. Immigrant parents WANT their kids to be even more successful and wealthy than themselves.
My parents were immigrants so yes
Absolutely. Mine were immigrant to. Mad respect.
Yes since there has been a ton of inflation in the last 30 years.
yes, but could not do what i do without all their sacrifice. I hope my kids will say the same one day 🙌
well consider how poor my parents were, the answer is yes
Not even close.
Yes, from two things:
-the inheritance I got from my dad
-when they were my age, my mom was too sick to work (and not yet on disability) and my dad was a public school teacher / part time real estate agent raising two kids....I don't have kids of my own.
This doesn’t makes any sense to compare as there are many parameters involved while making a comparison
The answer is still NO. Thanks.
Yes I’m 32 with my net worth is the high 7 figures now but it was thanks to them and also because I am less educated formally then they are haha one is a psychiatrist and one has 2 phds so they were barely finishing at my age and I finished my 2 masters at 25 and I started my real estate business around 21. So yes I am ahead because I have been working for about 7-8 years more then they did by my age in my profession and I’m also extremely aggressive with my career and have just recently started enjoying life more.
Well I guess I am the winner out of everyone on this thread.
Hello, SIA 1, so, stop addressing me. I haven’t said anything or even thought about this conversation until today when I got notification that you were spewing your boring and predictable lies and arrogant boasting over stuff that is only yours by inheritance. I’m going to continue to comment in a public forum so long as it remains public. You don’t have say over me.
No
I have more earning power.
