I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well. Are stock refreshers based on the initial RSU grant or solely based on performance? Google

I like working remotely when I want to. I’m 32 and prefer the hybrid schedule. It’s like a nice balance for me
I love working remotely because at 43, I’ve never been able to do so while in corporate America. I also get a lot done and am able to connect with more people. My commute consumes three hours of my day and although I’m spending much more time at my desk at home, it still feels good and I want to work this way for the remainder of my career. I also travel a lot so it really doesn’t make sense to go into the office the way we used to.
Love love love working remotely. Early 50s. My social circle is outside of work, and having zero commute time allows me to have a better work/life balance. Plus I get SO MUCH MORE work done in those three extra hours when I’m NOT commuting.
I love working remote and wish I could 100%. I’m 32, and the reason I like it is the flexibility it gives me.
I'm 49 and LOVE working remotely. I'm at a stage in life where work friends and work related social events consume a very small portion of my life. I love having a 0 mile commute, minimal office politics, and being available for activities and events in my community or town. The flexibility is amazing.
I'm 31, I love working remotely because I am more productive with less distractions of "in office" interactions.
I do and I don't. Somedays I miss the office. Overall I really like being at home. I am 36.
32 and i love the remote option even if it’s hybrid it’s more comfortable and plus with these new viruses spreading its wayyyy more safer.
