Do you notice a difference in clients that are female vs male? It’s a well known fact that women get scrutinized a little more, especially as they get older. And corporate america is kind of a boys club (easier to fail upwards). I have a crazy theory that women may push for safer work a little more often because of this.

I know there’s many exceptions and i’m making broad generalizations. Also pardon me speaking in gender binaries, it’s just for the sake of brevity.

I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. Is this normal?

I’m in this business to cure my inferiority complex. Making lots of money, working with fortune 500 clients and walking the streets of NYC with a suit, tie and briefcase makes me feel important and worthy.
