Can anyone here give a referral?
Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.

No, that’s a good way to burn out. There is no reason to constantly do work that isn’t yours to do. Start pushing back now before it’s too late.
No its never respectful. Although its not intended to be infantilizing or paternalistic, I know how it impacts us professionally. Its a catch all for, shes an assistant not skilled professional with technical mastery.
Learn to say no. Especially if those “favors” are not in your JD. A professional way to say it is that you are currently working on a few priorities and can’t assist at this time, but that if you get it done early (you’re not) you can go catch up and assist but be sure to tell them not to wait for you because you have a lot on your plate and you don’t want to delay their deadlines as you’re working on your own deadlines. Make it clear. You work on your own project and when I’m done with mine, I’ll come assist (But you’re not). But this way it still says you care and you’re a team player who is willing to help where it makes sense. (Yes, I said “WHERE” not “WHEN”) know the difference.
