Do you think those with masters degrees in accounting are more prepared for the CPA exam?

Newly barred attorney here of almost a year. Looking to maybe ditching the “traditional” attorney/bar licensure track and going into other areas where JD degrees/lawyers are preferred. Anyone have experience with this untraditional track?

Has anyone got any tips for making a strong start to a consulting career? Have 6 months experience and trying to temperature check how things are going / what I could do more of.

It’s review season at my agency. I’m struggling with what goals to put down or things I want to learn. I have been hired under one role but have been managing projects in design UX/UI, content management (auditing and process development), and governance (currently working on a bot project). What are the hours like for a program manager in the Bay Area?

I passed my last CPA exam last week. I’m still shock! It doesn’t feel real.

California peeps. I have a feeling I failed FAR, which is my last exam, but my score isn’t released until May 11. Can I submit the reapplication with the CA Board of Accountancy to speed up the retake and NTS process in case I failed? Or do I need to get my exam score first? I need to pass by mid June, else my REG score expires, hence the rush to resubmit the re-application.

So Becker was supposed to charge me $600 to update for unlimited access since my account was due to expire in March. I called them in December to make payment. Now 8months later...they reach out to me saying they only charged $35. I just checked my bank statement and they are right but i don't have $600 sitting around...What do i do? Thoughts?
