I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

I have worked a waitressing job for years and actually kinda love it - the hours are flexible, and the money is GREAT!! It does require some weekend and holiday commitment at times.
Other suggestions are food delivery services like Door Dash, they often let you set your own hours and work as you need to. Also, as someone else suggested, tutoring is great work if there is need in your area.
No judgement at all, but when my wife and I were really struggling trying to raise 4 kids with me as the sole income source we stumbled on Dave Ramsey. It won't change your income but if you aren't doing some of the things he suggests ,and you start, you feel like you have more money. I also got my bus license and started driving for lots of school events. You can actually make pretty good money doing that.
It is sad that you have to make this choice. I think more teachers need to think about leaving teaching completely. That is the only way the system will change. I unfortunately am 5 years away from retirement otherwise I would be running from this profession.

I like the way you think@ Cali HS
Tutoring, babysitting, restaurant/bar staff… around here, some real estate companies will train you to learn the business and it can be mostly nights and weekends… and there is always retail- with the holidays coming up many stores will be hiring soon. Good luck!
How do you find real estate companies that are willing to train you? Any company recommendations?
I'm not a teacher, but I work in IT. A few years ago, I started a video production and photography business, and I now make double my income in my spare time. It's been great to have the extra income. I've also managed to set myself up to retire earlier. I’m not rolling around in money or anything like that. We don’t have a large house or big fancy vehicles. So don’t think we are living lavishly. But I have fun, meet lots of neat folks, worked with some large companies, and have developed skills I can use anytime as long as I am physically able.
I can't think of anything that wouldn't be a weekend job with those hours. I'm sorry :/. I hope you find something though, good luck!
I used to work at Sylvan Learning Center, however it recently closed. I can completely relate!

I worked part time in the evening at the make-up counter at Von Maur for many years. It was grueling but it helped financially. My husband’s a small business owner too so we were kinda screwed
I'm looking for something low key, like working in the kitchen of a local Wawa
I'm thinking that the food industry is very stressful. I'd try for a store or something.
How about summer school? Do you coach anything? Your Union needs to negotiate for higher salaries. What percentage of your schools budget is used for teacher salaries? It should be about 60%.
The states and non teachers may want it that way but many of the actual teachers do not
Local colleges typically need adjunct professors to teach night classes. I've picked up a few and make a decent chunk of change from it.
I work at a barn after school 2 days a week. I love it.
Its great because it is flexible. I don't have to be there by a certain time, just as long as the stalls get cleaned.
I have taught 41 years and sorry ,but I do not see anything getting better in TN. Each year on the state level since the power is not politically equally distributed it is crazy law after crazy law and locally endless fights with the county commission for funding.Good luck!!!

Isn’t TN known for low funding in schools. Like there’s no real investment in education on the legislative level. That’s a bummer!
I haven’t picked anything up during the school year, but do usually work something during the summer. I’ve been at the local restaurant during the summer for a long time now, works to be seasonal because they are so busy during then. I guess you could look for something in the evenings, but can’t imagine that is much better then working all weekend either.
What about summer school or a summer job? That would most likely be the only way to do it and not harm your physical and mental well-being.
Since you are a math teacher, private tutoring is great, and people will pay a lot for a good tutor. You might also want to look for stipend jobs within your school--lunch duty, coaching, ITRT, department head, etc.
I had a part time job at FedEx Office as a production operator. I made good money and I liked the job.
I know how you feel! I love what I do. I set my own pace and work as much as I want to. I'll be glad to share with you!
I'm not a teacher, but I work at a high school and I have three jobs.
Uber Eats is great making money on the side in your spare time. Can do weeknights, weekends, set your own hours. Easy money and you don’t even know where time flies when you’re driving and keeping busy. Urban / large cities areas thrive on Uber Eats, Door Dash, Grub Hub, Postmates, and Instacart.
I started real estate about 3 years ago and it is a great way to earn money. When I don't want to work, I don't. Once in a while I am doing open houses on weekend but is certainly not every weekend. You can make it as busy as you want. Summer is a great time to sell a house as well. Not going to say it is easy but it has been a great way to make some extra cash.
No. The moment I have to do that, I'll find another job. Plus we have extra duties within the school if you need extra money.
