Need advice: I recently graduated from an MBA program and will start with EY Parthenon soon. I have 42 months left on my H1B and I’m nervous about EY starting my GC process since they have paused PERM (they said they will start GC after a year but if they miss this window, I’ll be screwed). Should I be looking to change jobs soon (within the next six months) or stick it out with EY? TIA!

The interviewer had a a very positive response and told that I should wait for a final round and expect a confirmation email. I’m a senior accountant at a large financial services firm. I have my CPA and I’m currently look at grad school. Torn between pursuing a JD or an MBA. Either option would be part time while I continue working (I know this dampens the value of the MBA but I’ve got a family and need the income). Any advice on which adds more value? Not necessarily planning to leave accounting but also not against it.
