You are 'something' known as an exempt employee. No overtime for that
ACN does for lower/entry levels within strategy, not sure about other groups. We don't get to charge in extra hours to boost utilization. Straight 8s til I die.

We do if you are at the Consultant level (Entry).
I think if you're a peon level analyst you can get OT

I believe Accenture pays out OT, not sure if it's based on 8 hour day or 40 hour week
^at least you get utilization! We don't get utilization unless we are charging hours (travel time does NOT count)

The Deloitte Canadian firm does for A&C. As a result you'll likely make more as a C than an SC.
I mean, I'll be honest, I try to encourage my underlings to stay at 40 hours. But I send em home, or tell them to work on plus one activities outside of my chargeable 40 hours...
A2, you need to book what you work. If you tell people not to book it, you are violating policies. This is one reason why projects always go over, since people ghost they don't know accurately how much to budget.

If your contract is Exempt Salaried there is no such thing as OT. I believe there are salaried non-exempt but it's not common in our industry.
I get regular pay ot as a professional courtesy, but it's not ot as far as the law is concerned
Interns get paid overtime. That's why they think they won't work more than 8 hours a day when they get hired 👌
