Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.

My LM is so keen on small small things, not related to coding but documentation and all. Atleast once in a week I'm committing mistakes on small documentation points n he is stressing on same. Are there any chances that my probation will not be extended or is it a clue for me from my LM. He is Looping his LM and asking questions/clarifications.
Should I ask him directly or can be ignored or need to try outside. Please suggest Barclays
I just get paid in production company lunches

Live your life. If they’re hiring right now they’ve VERY likely done the math and have the need. No guarantees your current job won’t can you just the same. Oh and STOP listening to all the recession talk in the media.
That's a difficult predicament. You can try doing an honest analysis of which industries are going t be most affected by a downturn in the economy and then avoid any firms that have those industries as their main clients.
Fellow Starcommer here- have you thought about talking to your manager about switching roles? We want to retain talent in the agency even if it means moving to another team. Potentially there is a better fit in a different client or in different practice. Just a thought. I did this several years ago personally. I had an honest conversation with my manager about the role, my skill set and my interests and we were able to find a better fit. Could work to give you a new experience without totally jumping ship.
16 😉 Not looking at other agency roles. I am considering a tech company, which is risky. I am going to keep parallel pathing and just have faith that I’ll make a decision that is either 1) the perfect opportunity or 2) the perfect learning. I do have my eyes on a Starcom role that may pan out.
What industry? If it's something like pharma, then you should be golden. If it's more luxury/disposable income type stuff, then I'd stay put.
