Deloitte fishes on H1B- if you’re working from a remote location (50 miles away from your home office), do you submit that jurisdiction on DTE? If yes, wouldn’t that need an amendment? If no, wouldn’t uncle D find out and be upset?

This week I started a listen through my entire record collection from front to back. I’ll be doing this on workdays when I am in my home office. Did it a few years ago. Collection has grown a lot since then. But I’m not doing comedy and spoken word this time. Too hard to work to those. I expect it to take 4-6 weeks at least. Depending on how many calls I have.

Can't help but feel like I'm in a rut. I'm 23 and realized I still haven't accomplished goals that I set when I was 20. I waste copious amounts of time on Netflix. I keep losing weight only to gain it back. I bought a standing desk and am still sitting on my bed to work. I told myself I'm going to accomplish XYZ certification exams over a year ago and started studying 3 or 4 times only to quit studying 3 days in. How do I stop being such a loser. I feel pathetic

Has anyone bought a quality, affordable (less than $500) standing desk for home that they would recommend?

Bought an Uplift standing desk that arrived Friday. Something is giving an error so it will not raise out of the bottom 22 inch height. Called them and was told it has to go to warrenty team who doesn't work weekends and takes 2-3 days to review the case.

TLDR : I bought a thousand dollar oversized coffee table......

I have a desk job where I’ll legit sit for 9hrs each day. I used to have hobbies on the computer, like video editing, writing code for side projects, sketching out app ideas. Lately I can’t stand to be at my desk anymore after work. Been watching too much tv instead. More so seems like it’s due to being in the same location for so many hrs each day. I don’t know if it’s because my last position was as an art director and they’re just confused or if I seem not as enthusiastic about the role as I should be but it’s definitely disheartening because I’m unemployed and I need to get back to work. They are very thoughtful of me and knew that this is my first time being freelance as a product designer. I was given some time to come up with the number for my hourly rate.
They also mentioned, "Remember to add that insurance fee, living cost stuff, etc into your consideration and Don't ask lower than $50". Is there any formula that can help - like 1.5x standard annual salary? Thanks

Question for UX Researchers: what is a stipend range for an intern or junior researcher that is respectable? It would probably be 5-10 hours every other week: a side, side gig.
