Does anyone have any experience working with Amazon? I feel like it would be a great company to start with for supply chain but have heard mixed reviews on the working environment.

Amazon is a huge company. What specifically are you interested in? I have friends in AWS sales and warehouse ops management who love their job, friends at studio and corporate that hate it. It depends on where you land I think.

All the negatives you have heard of or read are true. I wouldn't go back even if it was the last job on earth.

I work with Amazon and they do have a lot of work from home but they do require you to go into the office at least sometimes… And they move people around a lot. I’ve had 4 different vendor managers at Amazon in the past year alone. I’m under impression they just move people around to different accounts/areas to get a wide range of experience. So it could be a good option :)

What about the pay? It is fair? Or let's say within the minimum?

I worked on the management side in an FC. Is that what you're looking for?

I’ve been with the company for almost 4 years now. I only had only salary increase in my 1st and 2nd year but not in my 3rd year anymore. The account is good for beginners but the salary is not competitive.

Nice place to work but not long term. They have good training. The most enjoyable part is with the team.

I love amazon, the people are so great and they also have free coffee, milo on pantry. They have free wifi and delicious food lol. The staff and guards are so kind.

A typical day at work would be handling irate calls. I learned a lot from Amazon, first how to handle certain types of customers and how to gauge and set proper expectations and look for the best option and providing the best resolution if possible. The workplace culture is the best. The most enjoyable part of being an amazonian would be the people you work with.

I had enjoyed working with Amazon. People around me are very much work oriented, that you have this will of going out to work with these pips because they have a lot of energy working everyday, they really inspired me. Amazon is a family 😍 when you're there they hug you as one of them, for me it's a home.

What I love is how inclusive Amazon is. The workplace is very comforting. They treat all of us equally and my co workers as a friend. Loving everything in Amazon.

What role are you looking for? Your experience will entirely depend on what department you are in.

Amazon is a great company. At least based on my experience. I've worked there for 3 years.

Hi! Give it a try, OP. The pay and career opportunities are great.

Ohh the people there were very supportive. The superiors are understanding and supportive as well.

SSCC1 I don't know where you worked but I don't know a single person that has anything positive to say about that company. They are all extremely cutthroat. You're just a number there.
