I work in FP&A consolidations at a large sell side bank. I moved internally after working in the planning group of a Working Capital Solutions business. Now he wishes to come back to India and wants to join some company here. But seems like similar opportunities are very less, say close to 3-4%. My wife often calls me by 5:45/6 to ask where I am if I’m not headed home yet. Sometimes she’s stressed with kids/dogs/dinner and really wants me home. Junior associate here, should I ask for more money if my firm is about 10-15 percent less hours but about 30 percent less pay? Working on a deal where buyer's side keeps on insisting on a POA to effectuate all actions of Seller under the agreement, including executing documents. I keep striking this and commenting that this is not standard. Has anyone dealt with this? I am okay with a limited POA based on the industry of the Seller, but not this general POA.
