Partners, directors and senior management: when giving an interview, how do you decide whether the candidate is a good fit? Are there things you look out for? I’m deciding between 2 candidates who are both equally qualified and personable. Only looking to hire one. What to do here

Novartis for Consultant role - ctc - 24.2 + 70k joining bonus
And have another offer from Amazon for Program Manager fixed- 28 lac + 1 rsu (3.5 lac every year) + 1.5 relocation bonus.

Need some thoughts on which one to join.

So, I started working full-time at a retail store for clothing and accessories and after a brief dispute with my supervisor (my bike broke down which made me come in 20 minutes late to y shift) they told me that it seems like working is not my priority, so to make it easier on me I would only get 20 hours a week. What is the variable pay does Macquarie give year on year ? And is there a surety that we will surely get a decent variable pay as well over our fixed package since I don't find anything mentioned regarding this variable pay in my offer letter. Yoe- 8 and tech - selenium testing, and position- assistant manager.

I have a friend that is constantly trying to guilt me and pressure me into overspending, especially on “luxury” items. But I have different goals for my money and she doesn’t seem to respect that.

I lateraled into a niche practice group in Sept 2021. I also have a 1 year old and have been mostly remote since I started - but have been keeping busy tracking towards 2400-2500 hours. That said getting to know people only remote has been kind of awkward at times (email only can be tough to decipher) although as a working mom the pros vastly outweigh the cons. Yesterday my main partner asked me to come in Thursday bc he will be there and set a time to meet. Is this good/bad?? kind of nervous!

I'd like to get into Big 4 consulting ideally when full-time. I'm an engineering student - I'm not going to be interested in IT audit. Summer 2023 will be the summer after sophomore year, so I'll be declining the full-time return offer and I'll be looking for a different internship after junior year.

Just wanted to brag a little. This may not be much for some but I’m super excited. I graduated with a B.A in chemistry July 2022 and I start my job this Monday with a salary of 60K! This is the most money I’ve ever made 😱😱. Really proud of myself even though I know some people would rather make more. I’m hoping to hit 100K within 3-4 years. Don’t give up recent grads!!
