Interviewing with Apple next week for the roles of Global Supply Manager (GSM) and Worldwide Procurement Analyst in Austin. Does anyone have any tips or advice for the interview? What kind of questions do they ask?
Also, what’s the compensation like in Austin specifically? I would think the compensation would be different than Cupertino. Anyone have any offers or salaries for these positions in Austin?

Cleared Accenture Skill interview by answering almost all the questions and received congratulatory mail for HR round and submitting all documents. Then after a week received a call from HR saying that due to some technical issue, the skills round will happen again and an online assessment was set up. In the assessment, questions which were not directly related to the profile were asked and then a rejection mail was received. Does this happen a lot?

Jones day is black box- and talking about one’s own comp is a violation of stated firm policies (read: it messes up things for senior management to overpay Joe Blow down the hall and underpay you). Personally it’s all done to make life easier for management as opposed to having transparency.
Considered going there to be a partner - the above is right: basically the Mgmt Partner decides what you get and there’s no real recourse; this means it’s very clique-y and, in foreign offices (which matters to me) it becomes impossible to do your job properly without constantly doing favours for others who are unconnected to you or your clients but who are (or have the ear of) the decision makers. This is first-hand from several JD partners (firm policies notwithstanding).
