Does it matter if I don’t meet the specific job requirements when transferring H1B? The job posted requires CPA license but I haven’t got it. The employer is still willing to hire me. I know for PERM process, meeting minimum requirements is important but not sure if H1B have such requirement. I heard that for H1B as long as it’s a position requiring bachelors degree and specifically occupation that should be fine. But kinda worried about this.

I was called into HR because a coworker overheard a conversation between me and another colleague taking about cable/streaming shows that we watched or recorded. During interviews, how do you talk about the “result” or “impact” of a consulting project you were on? I know how to talk about the problem/recommendation portion of a sample project but the result/impact, I mean, as consultants we don’t see recommendations executed and actually generating results. So how do you talk about it?

Just found out I didn't get an offer for a role I thought I was fairly qualified for and was looking forward to moving. Feeling bummed that I don't have what it takes for the role and company.

How common are credit checks for roles in accounting or finance positions? Will high utilization on credit card balances and low credit score be a deal breaker? I’ve been irresponsible and made mistakes, but wondering if I can switch jobs now or if I’m best off waiting 1-2 years and cleaning up my credit first.
