I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

EY has staff at the airport?
FB doesn't seem like real life most of the time. I hardly know anyone that doesn't have roommates in first several years after getting out of college (in DC area), but some of you make that seem unfathomable.
Why would you have car expenses in SF. You guys who say 65k isn't "liveable" are so dramatic... literally hundreds of thousands of people in SF do it. Live in the east bay, get some roommates, etc.
Lol I pay ~$1500. You can easily live in the Bay for $65k. Live in Berkeley or Oakland if you want to pay less in rent, but you can afford SF on that. This thread has way too bougie standards.
OP, yes 65K is accurate for entry level. 65k is totally liveable - source: I did it. KPMG1, D1 and Analyst 1 get thumbs up.
It is not possible. For reference, accenture pays sf analysts 85k +15 bonus and I could not afford an apartment that fits my standards in the city. I'm living in the suburbs and still have to have roommates.
Umm my starting was 75k + 10 signing in NYC and I have saved over 15k and still have an incredible lifestyle and apartment
Tell her to look up one of the online calculators to calculate her post-tax income, then she budget based on that. Cali taxes are seriously high
easy if you don't eat out every meal and don't sit in bars all weekend like many young professionals do. you can still enjoy nice meals and drinks with friends though
Yes
OP since no car no loans sounds fine
I have a roommate in a decently sized 2 br by the Mission. GTFO out with this unliveable nonsense.
65k is ok in SF right out of undergrad. Lived in a decent place with 1 roommate for a while, paid 1700 and still had fun plus saved money every month. east bay makes it a little bit cheaper but you'll have to pay 1200-1500 there as well these days
They low ball
That is not a livable salary in sf. One bedroom apts rent for about $4000, do the math
@analyst 1: is it possible to survive in sf with 65k? Can you help me breakdown costs or suggest places?
@analyst 2 : that's a little off I think. 4K for one bedroom? That means pretty much everyone in sf earns way above 120?
That is accurate. Recommend switching to PI or FSO
How much does a pi/ fso salary start at?
I think the median salary for the population of sf is about 100k. You're less than 50% if you're making less than 6 figures
