That’s way too high for an AVP financial reporting role at MS. How many YOE do you have?
That’s a pretty high salary for ops with 3 YOE
Honestly, I think you’re at like 115-120k plus a like 10-15k Bonus. Based on being a hiring manager within an investment bank
I agree with Risk Analyst II above. I would ask for no less than 135k. 200k TC is probalby a little ambitious with your YOE.
I'm an AVP in MCOL area at 125 base and 20% bonus. Don't let people tell you 140 is too high. It's out there. At a super regional bank too.
4 YOE in analytics
For AVP, you’ll probably be looking $110k salary and 10-15 in bonus.
That’s what I’m currently making thought the pay would be higher considering the AVP title. Thanks for the advice!
I’d ask for $135K.
Forgot to add it’s at MS
I agree with the others, I think this is way more than what I would expect for avp roles. Director here in an international bank making less than that.
Ugh tell me about it!
With 3 YOE in an ops/reporting role, you will have to be seriously impressive during interviews to get close to 130k as an AVP. 105-115k is more likely, with a 10-15k bonus. You’ll eventually grow to a 150k base as a VP, but it’s going to take a few more years of hard work.
