All in is between 250-300
That sounds insane (but good)! Do most / the average Managers get paid 250 - 300 all-in? If so, A&M must be pretty generous with their comp structure. Would you be able to provide a few more details?
Yeah if you are utilized between 75-85% you should be good.
Manager it’s 120-140
100% will take you above $300K.
Agree with PWC1. Flip side of course is that if you are not utilized for whatever reason, your total comp will be less, as comp is basically directly proportional to utilization (collections really), and the floor (I.e. base salary) is low. It is a hedge for the firm, but they share the upside via the comp structure
I characterize the pay as above average on an hourly basis (~$7-8k per week as manager) when you’re billing, but it is essentially $0 when you are not. And obviously staffing is not completely in your control.
Also makes you really think about taking vacations (I still take at least 4 weeks).
Not sure on base for Director or Sr. Director, but I have heard the cash flow situation does not improve (I.e. bigger % bonuses, still relatively low base)
Thanks PwC1. Presuming you're no longer at PwC. Does the 250 - 300 figure factor in a 100% utilization rate?
