Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

RSU: 160k/4 years (Here is where I think it is low)

Please help
I was part of HPE and after resignation my manager gave me an early release before notice period completion, although I had never asked for early release and was ready to serve the whole notice period.
And now as part of F&F, I am being asked to pay Notice period recovery amount. I have received Service Certificate already. Please suggest what I should do. Thanks. HPE

I had cleared all rounds in Accenture and documents upload is also done but the recruiter never called after that, currently the status shown is as below:

Hey, I was on the same boat. I even got my designation changed one day before my joining. Designation actually matters because you will almost lose out on your promotions.
If i can get same good salary at junior position with decent work then why to go with senior position it will put more work burden on me...
Software engineer and senior software engineer is somewhat same band.So no worry in this case.Real comparision is when different band is offered.

Anyway your new offer is going to be based on your YoE and all companies have standard policies when it comes to offering designation.. For example, Consultant at Deloitte starts from 1+year for MBA graduates while at TCS it takes 12+ years..

There's a positive as well as a negative to choosing the lower role with the higher amount.
Pro:
When you get promoted, you'll have a good hike. If you switch, you'll get a good hike again because you're still in the technical side and not in management.
Con:
The chances of you getting promoted is low because if the company promotes an SE with a lower package than yours, the package they'll get will barely match yours. And the company would rather have many seniors working on the project at a low budget than not so many seniors working on the project at a much higher budget.
The ball lies in your court, you choose.
